Pale Horse is the TV adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel Pale Horse, one of her most acclaimed novels. The show is a crime drama that takes us through what is happening in Mark Easterbrook’s life. The first season came to an end, and fans are left guessing at the end.
The finale of the first season was so much different than the book, and if season 2 happens, then we will have to wait and see. There was not much material to go on as the show was initially supposed to be a mini-series. But due to the positive reviews, the show has received, it forced Showers to give serious consideration to the second season. There is no official announcement about Season 2 yet.

The story is detective fiction. It starts when Mark finds a list inside a dead woman’s shoe. The shoe has names of the people who have been dying, and this shocks him. He has all the riches and comfort in life but realizes he has to do something about this list, which had his name over it. The show then takes us to a new location, a village called Much Deeping. The place has a harem of witches performing rituals together and are known as The Pale Horse.
Throughout the story, these witches doubt that people are the most confident choices as they are. But the real culprit is pharmacist Zakaria Osborne, who was poisoning people to death. Fearing death, Mark kills him, but as the newspaper reads about his death, the story turns to a very twisted conclusion. With such an exciting ending to the series, the chances of having season 2 seem very slim.
