Tom Holland admitted that he stole support from every Miracle movie. The British actor is best known for playing everyone’s favorite neighborhood Spider-Man in Captain America to Marvel movies: Civil War and, more recently, Spider-Man: Away from Home.
Marvel fans were first introduced to Holland’s version of the iconic web-slinger in Captain America: Civil War, where Peter Parker first met Tony Stark. Parker attended the rest of the Avengers during the infamous battle at the airport. After Parker is battling his feet against other superheroes, he fought his first major villain in his first solo film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. Although Spider-Man has had to deal with losing his mentor Tony Stark while away from home, the character is embroiled in a real-life feud. Spider-Man was almost broken out of existence from the MCU due to a rough deal with Sony, which owns the rights to Spider-Man. Thankfully, a drunk phone for Disney CEO Bob Niger from Holland helped Spider-Man stay in the MCU for now. Is it any wonder Holland wants just a few souvenirs from his time on the Marvel film set?
In a BBC1 radio segment where children ask stars tough questions, Holland admitted that he had stolen props from several Marvel movies. Holland confesses to having taken the web shooter from the Spider-Man suit and Tony Stark’s spectacles. Starr said he tried, but failed to pick up an actual Spider-Man outfit. When asked if he could get in trouble for it, Holland gave a typical response; Peter Parker would be proud of, “Well, I ain’t so far.” Check out the hilarious interview below.
While the MCU is populated with a vast plethora of exciting and eclectic characters, Holland’s portrayal of Spider-Man is a refreshing and necessary dose of comic relief that balanced out several serious miracle moments. Holland’s Peter Parker can also be dangerous when called for by conspiracy. (Fans still tear at Peter’s famous line in Avengers: Infinity War. “Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good,” right before Spider-Man Thanos was dusted off the picture.) It’s always a risk when a famous character hits a brand ‘S reboot with the new actor, but the MCU was and will continue to be well served by Holland’s intelligent cracking Spider-Man.
Peter Parker’s relationship with father-son Tony Stark from the moments that portrayed the admirable Holland character, the worldwide hot-hearted potential MCU for Spider-Man. Fans would not be so upset over Spider-Man leaving the MCU for Sony if they did not like Holland’s portrayal of the character, and he is a testament to Holland’s acting abilities. Peter Parker is a teenage boy in high school who happens to be an avenger, and the Holland comic yet subtle portrayal never lets the audience forget that fact. The future of Spider-Man may remain in the previous Spider-Man 3 air, but rest assured, the Holland result will not deteriorate. However, he may have stolen one or two Sahara.
