It’s the weekend, and we’re back with our weekly dose of the week’s newsmakers. This week’s Hollywood Diary Opening, let us look back at the most significant moments from the international entertainment industry. The biggest news producer of this week was Spider-Man leaving the Marvel cinematic universe. Earlier this week, the Sony Pictures and Walt Disney deal reached a deadlock. This split resulted in Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige reacting to recent developments as a result of cutting off their collaboration with Spider-Man Kevin Feige and Tom Holland.
Sticking to the MCU, Feige announced new projects that the MCU will release in Phase 4 at the D23 Expo. Films have been published on the show and that Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight. Black Panther 2 release date was revealed. Kit Harington was revealed to be eternal. A glimpse was also shared on the Black Widow. The D23 Expo also dropped the trailer of the Mandalorian trailer.
Other big news of the week was released Taylor Swift’s new album Lover. The original song highlighted her three-year relationship with Alwyn. Hailey Baldwin and Justin Beiber have also narrowed down on a date that they will be tying the knot for a second time. This Week Spider-Man Kisses MCU Goodbye:
With Sony and Disney parting ways, Tom Holland Spider-Man will now be seen in upcoming Marvel films. Although the studio has not commented on the reason for the split, reports suggest Disney and Sony may not reach common ground on revenue and costs. Addressing the separation, Holland assured fans that he would continue to play the role of Spider-Man.
She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel & Moon Knight announced this week; Kit Harington joins MCU:
The D23 Expo took place this weekend, and Marvel Studios made several announcements. Marvel chief Kevin Feige confirmed that three new superheroes would join the MCU, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight. The film and the Disney Plus series will be made on the same. It is also revealed that Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington joined MCU with The NTs.
Dwayne Johnson and Scarlett Johansson are the highest-paid actors of 2019:
According to Forbes, Hobbs and Shaw actor Dwayne Johnson and Avengers: Endgame star Scarlett Johansson is the highest-paid actors and actresses of 2019. Dwayne made a whopping $ 89.4 million from June 1, 2018 – June 1, 2019, while Scarlett has made $ 56 million jaw-dropping earnings for the year.
Taylor Swift’s new album Lover of This Week:
After teasing it for months, Taylor Swift finally dropped her new album titled Boyfriend. The video for the album’s title track was released on the same day as the rest of the song, and it was nothing short of a story. In addition to the title song, the album’s Cruel Summer also made headlines for it featured references to Taylor’s relationship with Tom Huddleston.
