Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going strong with almost two years of dating. The star duo will have to come together for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra for the first time. The rumors of Alia and Ranbir have been quiet for some time, and now it is being said that Ranbir talked to Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt and asked his daughter’s hand.
According to reports in Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir formally met Mahesh Bhatt to ask Alia for his hand. Reports also said that Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor might get a big wedding in 2020 after his return from New York.
Rishi was diagnosed with cancer in September last year and had been undergoing treatment in New York since then. The veteran actor was declared cancer-free in April 2019 and is currently recovering from the disease. In previous interviews, Ranbir and Alia have kept a mother on the subject of their marriage, but a recent report said that they would tie the knot in 2020.
Earlier, it was also rumored in the rumor mill that Alia Bhatt had ordered marriage with designer Sabyasachi.

Ranbir and Alia’s film ‘Tamasha’ was also said to be issued this year, but its release time was changed to 2020. Alia and Ranbir blossomed on the sets of Brahmastra. And since then, lovebirds have remained inseparable.
Before dating Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor moved out with Deepika Padukone. Deepika is now wedded to Ranveer Singh, and she shares a cordial relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. The two worked together in Tamasha and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewangi after their break up.
