Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going strong with almost two years of dating. The star duo will have to come together for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra for the first time. The rumors of Alia and Ranbir have been quiet for some time, and now it is being said that Ranbir talked to Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt and asked his daughter’s hand.
According to reports in Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir formally met Mahesh Bhatt to ask Alia for his hand. Reports also said that Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor might get a big wedding in 2020 after his return from New York.

Rishi was diagnosed with cancer in September last year and had been undergoing treatment in New York since then. Before dating Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor moved out with Deepika Padukone. Deepika is now wedded to Ranveer Singh, and she shares a cordial relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. The two worked together in Tamasha and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewangi after their break up.
