Behind the adventures of the Ford V Ferrari, there is a human plot-driving story. The film follows two friends — car visionary Carol Shelby (Matt Damon) and British race car driver Ken Meal (Christian Bale) —to come together to form the Ford GT40 and finally give Ford a victory over Ferrari. But beyond that, director James Mangold says that the story centres on the friendship between the two in an exclusive clip of a man from behind the scenes involved in the film’s Blu-ray / DVD release.
He says, “I hope that beyond the film, period and period racing and the splendour of cars, I hope that what you get from it is a yearning that is like friends, or people like to cherish you.” is”. “For me, the film is all about these connections between these people. They all try to do the best they can, to achieve something that has never been resolved.
Along with the clips, 4K Ultra HD ™, Blu-ray ™ and DVD come loaded with creating release features, never-before-seen footage, cast and filmmaker interviews.
The target release also includes a gallery book for the film.
Bale agrees with his director in the clip.
“This crosses being a racing film,” says Bale, 45. “The races are unprecedented, they are very bloody exciting, but this is more than a racing film. It’s a bunch of dreamers, but they persist and never give up, and that’s the beauty of it.
