Beyonce’s name has been brought up on some embarrassing allegations by a wedding planner. Veronica Morales claims that Beyonce has been engaging in fraudulent behavior by submitting an oath declaration that she intended to use the Blue Ivy Carter trademark in her own business.
This is certainly not the first time that the public is hearing about the fight, as the awkward legal battle between the two has been going on for quite some time.
In 2017, Beyonc] filed paperwork for the rights to the trademark “Blue Ivy Carter,” her oldest daughter’s name. Morales, who is a wedding planning company named Blue Ivy, quickly hit back in court.
The wedding planner has been maintaining her position and recent events on her end seem to indicate that Beyonce is going a bit too far with her actions. At least if the allegations turn out to be accurate, of course.
Morales also accused Beyonce of failing to provide essential documents with proof of how he intended to use the trademark in the first place.
Morales explained that Jay-Z talked to Vanity Fair, where he said he and Beyonce had no intention of selling products to use the Blue Ivy trail, but they would like to prevent others from using it.
Morales said in court documents: “When considered together, the admission to Vanity Fair and refusal to respond to any search responses is sufficient evidence to conclude that the applicant’s intent is all along what J said: Application to use the trademark to prevent others from using her daughter’s name. This is a fraud on the USPTO.
In the end, he is still insisting that Beyonce is trying to get his hands on the iconic trademark fraud and that he will continue to fight tooth and nail for the right to use it himself.
Beyonce has been very different from the case in general, refusing to answer various inquiries related to it and misbehaving, according to Morales.
Of course, it is worth remembering that this is only one side of the story.
