iQOO Neo 3 is expected to feature specialties like iQOO 3 available in India. However, performance can be different and better at the same time. The iQOO Neo 3, the next smartphone in the iQOO series, is teased to come with a “high refresh rate” display. Although the company did not provide an exact number, a new leak shows the configuration of the screen. The screenshot of iQOO Neo 3’s settings menu has leaked before its launch. This suggests that the smartphone will feature a display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Interestingly, the screen can be configured on many different refresh rates.
iQOO Neo 3 will come with a 120Hz display
While competition limits performance to 120Hz, iQOO will offer several options. The leaked screenshot shows that there is also a 90Hz intermediate option in the display settings. In other words, the display refresh rate can be set to 60Hz or 90Hz or 120Hz. There also seems to be an auto option that will change the refresh rate according to usage. This will provide a great balance between performance and battery life. For example, users can set 90Hz as the default for most of their usage during the day.
However, they can change the display to a 120Hz refresh rate while playing the game. This will give the flexibility to take advantage of games that support up to 120 frames per second. In comparison, smartphone makers like Samsung are all out to support only the 120Hz refresh rate. Along with this screenshot, another leaked image shows the section about the device. This confirms that iQOO Neo 3 will be equipped with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. We expect this to be the base model of the smartphone. Before launching, we already know that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 75 mobile platform.
It will also support 5G and is expected to feature a 1080p AMOLED display. The status bar icon in the screenshot suggests that there will be a punch-hole camera on the right. It sounds similar to the iQOO 3 launched in India in February. However, the iQOO 3 does not have a high refresh rate display and instead offers a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is still unclear when iQOO Neo 3 will be made official in China.
