Hannah Brown shows the past year: ‘I wish I had protected my heart a little more’: As 2019 comes to an end, Hannah Brown is looking back on the year that changed her life forever. Among peoples specials is the sneak peek at the ABC 9 annual year-end particular year: 2019, which airs on Sunday, Brown, 25, has undergone significant life changes, most notably on his travels on The Bachelorette.
Says Brown, “I feel like a lot of people have been in similar situations as I have, reality TV stars, you can make yourself a packaged version if you want to – I Just don’t work that way. “I can’t do it. I can’t pretend I’m happy or pretend to be emotional when I’m not.
“When I have started this whole journey that has gone this year, I very quickly realized that it is either all or nothing to do with me,” he admits. “I have all chosen, and many times I am like, ‘God dang this, why are you like that ?! But then I have moments where people come to me, and they are like,’ Oh, my God, I think Like I know you, you are my friend! “
“Many people, frankly, if they’ve seen me and been on this ride with me this year — you know me,” she continues. “I have not tried to hold anything back.”
Brown admits, however, that her authenticity on television has “made life difficult at times.”
“Yes, I wish I had protected my heart, of course,” she says. “But the human connection that is being made is so worth it. I am really proud of that.”
Brown started 2019 as a contestant, Colton Underwood’s Bachelor season 23. He was cast as the lead for the 15th season of Bachelorette after placing seventh.
She eventually accepted an offer from country singer Jed Wyatt on the show but ended the engagement calling off and dumping her on camera after learning that she allegedly had a girlfriend when he went on the show.
In August, Brown opened up in a lengthy Instagram post, admitting he was ‘struggling’ after the end of the ABC series. Later that month, she was announced as one of the celebrities competing in the 28th season of Dancing with the Stars.
The Alabama native went on to win the season in November with pro teammate Alan Bersten, beating out fellow finalists KL Mitchell, associate Brooke, and Lauren Alaina. All four stars will participate in the upcoming Dancing with the Stars-Live Tour 2020, which kicks off in January.
However, Brown’s time on reality TV is not over yet. The trailer for The Bachelor’s Peter Weber season teased a shocking reunion between exes as Brown dropped in for a surprise visit. (Weber came in third on Brown’s season of Bachelorette.)
Brown said in the clip, “I’m making decisions for my heart.” Because I know there’s still something there. And I would do anything for a relationship.
A press release revealed that Brown also returns to host a group date, where he tells nine women that they will be showing their most memorable sex stories and fantasies in front of a live audience.
“But what happens when Peter discovers a distraught laugh backstage?” Release teased. “Will he leave the two of them as confused as they share with him. Do they both still have feelings for each other and share the same burning passion? Is Hannah Brown in the group of women at The Bachelor Mansion Will join and continue to date, Peter? “
“I was in love with Peter,” Brown told People after deciding to end things with the charming pilot during the Bachelorette season finale in July. “I was pulled in different directions every other day. But I had to make a decision. I felt as if my heart was broken.
