Police reported on Sunday, November 24, that a 24-year-old college student was abducted and physically beaten in a moving car by a 26-year-old man in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district with the act being recorded by his friends. Had gone.
New Mandi Station House official Sanjeev Kumar said that the victim of BSC college student was going to college from her house on Saturday morning when she was ambushed on Bhopa Road and was going to college by sitting in a car with Subodh and his two friends.
According to the complaint lodged by the girl’s uncle, she was abducted in the car by the accused and forcibly put the intoxicating substance at gunpoint.
Subodh physically molested her in the moving car while his friends recorded the act, the complaint said.
Some hours later, the victim was left outside her college and frightened of terrible consequences if she reported regarding the incident.
SHO Kumar told that police filed a case against the Subodh and his two friends, whose names are yet to be ascertained.
The SHO added that the victim, along with her family, had moved their village and shifted to a place in Muzaffarnagar town due to repeated harassment from Subodh.
In a different incident in the district, a 22-year-old woman was supposedly harassed by two men while working in an agricultural field near Narottampur Majra village under the Titawi police station area on Saturday.
The girl’s uncle filed a complaint in which he claimed that the duo attempted to drag her to a nearby sugarcane field, but she raised the alarm. As the girl’s family members tried to stop the duo, the accused opened fire at them and fled from the place, the complaint said.
